In Cattolica you can visit the largest aquarium in the whole of the Adriatic: the Aquarium of the Navi di Cattolica.
An experience for everyone and for all ages, where emotion, surprise and knowledge of the world of the sea and its secrets will accompany you along the various paths between the tanks.
The Cattolica Aquarium was inaugurated in June 2000 and is housed in buildings dating back to the '30s, whose shapes recall a naval fleet, hence the name of "Le Navi" Aquarium.
The original structure was conceived as a marine colony to accommodate the children of Italians living abroad and, thanks to careful restoration, now houses the Aquarium of Cattolica and makes it appreciated throughout the world the enhancement of the rich area of history and maritime traditions.
The Le Navi aquarium extends over an area of 110 thousand square meters, overlooking the sea and perfectly integrated into the urban fabric of Cattolica. It has large parking lots and also has large green areas, freely usable as a public park.
The structure also offers visitors many services: relaxation areas, adjacent beach, restaurants, bars, theme shops, equipped green areas, entertainment for children, shows, exhibitions, cultural events, conferences and sports.
The aquarium can be visited throughout the year either individually or in groups.

The hundreds of tanks that host the marine fauna are organized into four color paths: blue, yellow, green and purple. You can also make an exclusive experience with a shark dive.
